Prague preceptorship in vascular diseases: clinical overview and practical guide
Cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction and stroke, are the leading cause of death worldwide, with about 18 million deaths per year. Researchers over the years work tirelessly to understand how the cardiovascular system develops and functions. This generate tremendous amount of knowledge that is worthwhile spreading across the vascular specialization community and their associated specialties. Summer school aims to raise students' awareness on new pathophysiologic mechanisms involved in vascular disease, but also on new investigational tools and UpToDate targeted treatments.
